The Injury Free Program Coordinator of the Year Award recognizes an individual who has developed and implemented local, state and/or national injury prevention programs and/or policy initiatives resulting in improved outcomes.
Decisions are based on: how the nominee developed, implemented, and evaluated local Injury Free programming and/or policy activities and evaluations; the leadership qualities exhibited by the individual; partnerships developed with local/county/state organizations to help facilitate implementation of Injury Free activities; educational and teaching activities facilitated by the individual; and mentorship opportunities the nominee provided for co-workers, students, and faculty.
