Session Description:
This keynote will explore the differences in injuries and injury prevention amongst various racial, class, and geographic disparities and identify solutions to systematically address and prevent inequities.

Objectives:

1. Describe the epidemiology of pediatric injuries and disparities across groups
2. Describe the role of intersectionality in understanding racial, class, and geographic disparities in the burden of pediatric injury
3. Identify the structural drivers which contribute to the disparities in pediatric injury described
4. Understand the use of the injury equity matrix
5. Identify antiracist solutions to systematically address inequities
