Research Scientist, Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Providence
Dina Burstein, MD, MPH is the program coordinator for community activities at the Injury Prevention Center at Rhode Island Hospital. She coordinates the Injury Free Coalition for Kids in Providence program and the Safe Kids RI program. She serves as the state training contact for the Safe Kids child passenger safety technician certification program. Dr. Burstein earned her MD degree at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed a residency in pediatrics at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. Burstein has practiced as a primary care pediatrician and recently earned an MPH from the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
