Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Atlanta welcomes new Research Coordinator. Dr. Kirsten Bradbury will be a welcomed resource for the Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Atlanta. Her background, experience, and interest in Injury Prevention is very impressive. She is an awesome addition to the Coalition. Check out her Bio and stay tuned for an exciting year:

Kirsten E. Bradbury is a Post-doctoral Fellow with the Emory University School of Medicine who conducts research for Injury Free Atlanta. Dr. Bradbury obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and her master's and doctoral degrees from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University. She completed her clinical internship with the Emory University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Bradbury has special interest in the clinical science of injury prevention, including developmental-systems analyses of injury events, risks to children in low-income families, and parent safety education. Dr. Bradbury was the 2003 recipient of the Lizette Homer Peterson Memorial Award for Research in Injury Prevention, awarded by the Society for Pediatric Psychology and the American Psychological Society.
