Introduction

The Injury Free Coalition for Kids and its National Injury Prevention Day partners are pushing forward with efforts to stop injuries and violence -- the number one killer and cause of hospitalization of people from ages 1 to 44 years old. For the fifth year in a row, Safe Kids Worldwide, Safe States Alliance, the American Trauma Society, the American Academy of Pediatrics, Be SMART, a program of Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund, the National Drowning Prevention Association (NDPA), the Society for Advancement of Violence and Injury Research (SAVIR), the Trauma Center Association of America (TCAA), JPMA Cares, and the Columbia Center for Injury Science and Prevention will join forces with Injury Free to raise awareness and empower communities to change. Join us in these efforts on November 18, 2024, National Injury Prevention Day!
