Program/Event Details:
GA AAP COIVVP led a discussion at the GA AAP Fall Chapter mtg with Dr. Lois Lee and GA AAP state chapter president, Dr. Angela Highbaugh-Battle and other state injury prevention stake holders involving brainstorming avenues for developing firearm safety legislation and options for firearm safety advocacy. Meeting resulted in a plan to develop a state coalition for firearm safety and identified local state representatives that would be instrumental in putting forth firearm safety legislation.
