Program/Event Details:
Safe Kids Connecticut partnered with the Salvation Army/The Right Place, a school readiness program for children ages 3 to 5 years old in Hartford, Conn. We gave away 45 home safety kits, filled with outlet covers, cabinet locks, door covers, and temperature guard rubber duckies. We also included educational information on car seat safety, bicycle and pedestrian safety, and the dangers of hot cars.
