Program/Event Details:
TGH Childrens Hospital celebrated the third annual National Injury Prevention Day along with Injury Free Coalition for Kids. This day is designed to raise awareness about the burden of injury, violence, and the need for change, a day to empower our team members, our patients, and our community to make a difference. We conducted a fair on the main campus of our hospital to help light a pathway to safety. We provided information on the following subjects: gun safety, infant safe sleep practices, drown prevention, concussion management, car seat safety and poison control. We provided over 200 people with safety and injury prevention information. We had over 200 people attend the fair.
