National Injury Prevention Day 2023

Program/Event Details:
Cincinnati Children's will be hosting a National Injury Prevention Day Resource Event. Families will be invited to preregister for age appropriate safety items provided by Injury Free/JPMA. Once arriving at the event the family will park in a designated space and receive injury prevention education on car seats, home safety, safe sleep, and gun/med lock safety. Items will be provided to families free of charge and follow-up will be provided for any items requiring installation 2 weeks after the event to assure families with no barrier accessing tools and/or installing in their homes or apartments.

Event Reach: Volunteers: 19 Lives Touched: 23 families served Duration: 10am-1pm Equipment: 24 car seats distributed, 11 car seats checked, 23 home safety bundles, 15 helmets, 13 gun locks, 8 med lock boxes
