Car seat check up event was hosted for Jackson, Platte, Clay, and Wyandotte counties on behalf of Safe Kids Greater Kansas City on Tuesday, November 12th. Over 30 families participated and NIPD was promoted during the event. In addition to car seats being inspected, provided, and installed, IFCK bags with green light bulbs and fliers were distributed, encouraging community members to shine their green lights on 11/18/24 in honor of NIPD.
