We hosted an open house for families to visit with community partners and learn more about child safety including: poison prevention, fingerprinting for children identification, fire safety, ATV safety, 911 call simulation, firearm safety and storage, child passenger safety, kitchen safety, and safe sleep. We had over 20 employees/volunteers and reached 257 patients and family members who visited the Family Resource Center at ACH and the ACNW Cafe. We distributed safety devices that families based on their individual needs. We also partnered with our local police officers and firefighters who really enjoyed the event and hope to join us again next year.
