Program/Event Details:
Green ribbons are being distributed to staff throughout the hospital along with posters on each unit highlighting: - Shining a green light on safety to raise awareness and inspire individuals to be a force of change. - Injuries are the number 1 killer and cause of hospitalization of people from ages 1 to 44 years old. - In 2022, 55% of patients treated at PPMC’s Level 1 Trauma Center for falls could not discharge to home after hospitalization. - Learn more about Falls Prevention: www.pennmedicine.org/TaiChi - Join us in raising awareness by wearing a green ribbon November 17-19, 2023.
