From car seat safety to safe sleep and toy safety, Mary Aitken, MD, chair of pediatrics with McGovern Medical School at UT Health Houston has dedicated her career to raising awareness for Injury Prevention. In honor of National Injury Prevention Day, she explains the importance of raising awareness or preventable injuries and how her team and others across the country work tirelessly to help prevent tragedies. This was shared among all social media pages for UT Health, UT pediatrics and UT McGovern medical school.
