Program/Event Details:
UT Health Houston/Children's Memorial Hospital team will have two focus areas: Safe Sleep and Child Passenger Safety for the 2023 National Injury Prevention Day.
UT Health Houston and Children's Memorial Hermann were able to provide safety resources that served over 260 individuals. This includes but not limited to child passenger safety, suicide prevention, poison control, firearm safety, safe sleep etc. These were provided throughout the weeks leading up to National Injury Prevention Day and reached many community individuals. Hospital and clinic staff was educated and empowered to continue to provide further safety education to other individuals.
