Shining a Green Light

Program/Event Details:
In recognition of National Injury Prevention Day 2024, the historic Fitzsimons Building—the heart of the CU Anschutz Medical Campus—will be illuminated in green during the evening of November 18, 2024.

The Injury & Violence Prevention Center and the Firearm Injury Prevention Initiative have committed to "Shining a Green Light" on injury and violence in our community.

The Injury & Violence Prevention Center is a multidisciplinary research center within the Colorado School of Public Health and the CU School of Medicine (SOM), actively engaged in partnership with the Firearm Injury Prevention Initiative (SOM). Both team's support research, training, outreach, and community engagement efforts in bringing attention to the burden of injury and violence in our communities.
