Project Safe Aurora is a gun violence prevention coalition in Aurora, Illinois. The coalition consists of stakeholder organizations and community members in Aurora. We plan on doing a week-long media campaign highlighting the various organizations in the coalition and promoting firearm safety with the availability of community members to pick up free gun locks around various locations throughout Kane County. We will be utilizing #LockedAndUnloaded to promote firearm safety.
