Program/Event Details:
The Mayoral Proclamation was delivered to Steven Edgar, CEO, and Lacy White, Injury Prevention Coordinator, from Medical City Denton by the Denton City Mayor Gerard Hudspeth on the Historic Courthouse on the Square on the evening of November 18, 2022 recognizing National Injury Prevention Awareness Day. The event was also supported by: Medical City Denton, Medical City Lewisville Trauma Services, Denton Fire Department, Denton Police Department, Denton County Sheriff Department, Denton County Friends of the Family, and The University of North Texas who provided support and information to the public on Injury Prevention related to first aide, holiday fire and fall safety, Stop The Bleed, American Red Cross Blood Donation, as well as Domestic and Sexual Violence prevention.
