Program/Event Details:
We will host a National Injury Prevention Day themed tailgate at the Fresno State University football game for patients and families.
Approximately 50 people attended. Valley Children's has a strong partnership with Fresno State University and all of the football players wore stickers on their helmets for this game in honor of the healthcare workers that care for children. The tailgate was green and all attendees received information on pedestrian and sports safety. Each attendee of the tailgate also received a reflective flashlight. This event was publicized via social media
