National Injury Prevention Day 2024

Program/Event Details:
On Sunday, November 17th we will be hosting the SC Career Kids and their mobile Safety Town to recognize National Injury Prevention Day. The Safety Town includes a police station, fire station, grocery store, library, pharmacy, school, hospital and more. Our community partners will be joining us to educate children on their specific topics. Once families are stamped at all stations, they are able to ride through the Safety Town on a tricycle while obeying road signs and learning more about each building in the town. Safety Town will be at the North Charleston Athletic Complex at 1455 Monitor Street, North Charleston, SC 29405 from 3:30-5:30pm. Anyone interested in attending should email vassy@musc.edu.
