Program/Event Details:
A small but dedicated team of pediatric providers have been working to improve firearm safety counseling practices in our inpatient and outpatient settings at MUSC Children's Health. This counseling includes education materials for parents and caregivers to review as well as the provision of gun locks if needed. During the week of National Injury Prevention Day 2021, we will be rounding to increase awareness of the importance of firearm safety counseling and the availability of the gun locks as a resource for our patients and families.
