Recognizing that victims of gun violence require more blook that most other injuries, the Auburn-Opelika Moms Demand Action group is partnering with Life South Blood Center for a Blood Drive at the Kroger Store , 1401 S Gilmer Ave., Lanett AL. Volunteers will be sharing the Be SMART message: S=Store guns securely at home and in automobiles; M=Model appropriate behavior around guns; A=Ask about the presence of guns in other peoples homes; R=Recognize the role of guns in suicide; T=Tell other people to Be SMART.
