Program/Event Details:
The UI IPRC has a monthly blog post that shares our injury & violence prevention research. We published a blog post on National Injury Prevention Day to highlight this day, what our partners are doing in the state for this day, and some research and resources for preventing injuries among children living in rural areas. As the most rurally-located CDC-funded ICRC, we identify how rural populations are affected by injuries and what places rural residents are at risk for being injured. We promoted our blog on Twitter and Facebook and through our center's listservs on Injury Prevention Day.
