Program/Event Details:
Partnering with Kansas Poison Control expert, Stephanie Baines, and the Olathe Fire Department this event educated parents and caregivers of all ages on tips to keep homes safe from unintentional poisonings and kitchen fires. Informational booths were available for attendees and continuing education credit was offered for licensed day care providers. Approximately 20 attendees were present for the trainings, in addition to 25 volunteers. 400 luminaries were lit to raise awareness of NIPD!
