Program/Event Details:
Piedmont Athens Regional and Safe Kids Athens placed green lights on all of our signage on our campus. "Shine a Green Light" on November 18th. We had an awareness table at the entrance of our main tower with Safe Kids Injury Prevention Information to distribute. Many of our employees to wore green in support. We submitted our Injury Prevention Day to our local newspaper, Piedmont Intranet, and shared on Safe Kids Athens Facebook.
We had our awareness table in the main entrance of the hospital from 9am-5pm. We educated 100 people on NIPD and gave out 70 handouts on gun safety, back to sleep safety, home fire safety, Car seat safety, toy safety, and fall prevention.
