Program/Event Details:
Our pediatric trauma center experienced a shift in our most common mechanisms of injury, where motor vehicle crashes outpaced falls for the first time in 2021. For this reason, we're focusing NIPD 2022 on child passenger safety education and outreach. We will be partnering with local agencies to host a series of community car seat check events throughout our catchment area. We'll partner with our organizations to use social media channels and local media outlets to advertise and cover the events.
