Injury Free Coalition for Kids: Illinois Medical District joins Rush University Children's Hospital, UI Health, and the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County on the near west side of Chicago.
Stroger (formerly called Cook County Hospital) is a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and one of three Chicagoland area pediatric burn units. Cook County Health and Hospital Systems have continued the mission of providing health care services to anyone who needs it – regardless of race, sex, ability to pay, insurance or immigration status.
Rush leads the SUID surveillance system for Cook County, IL, in partnership with the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office, as part of the CDC's Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Case Registry and Prevention. Learn more at rush.edu/suid.
