Trauma Prevention Program Coordinator, Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Minneapolis
Kaytlin’s passion for trauma prevention began while working as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for Hennepin County Medical Center. As an SLP, Kaytlin treated patients with traumatic injuries across the continuum of care. This care started within the burn, pediatric and surgical intensive care units and continued throughout their hospitalization, acute rehabilitation stays, and beyond as they returned for outpatient services to address ongoing deficits following their injuries. After years of watching preventable traumas significantly alter the lives of patients and their families, Kaytlin decided to pursue a career in injury prevention. She looks forward to continuing the long success of the program while continuing to address the ever-changing needs of our community.
