Director of Community Impact, Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Little Rock
Laura Taylor, MPH, is the Director of Community Impact for Arkansas Children's. Laura is an Arkansas native with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion from Arkansas State University and a Master of Public Health in Rural and Global Public Health from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist with experience in public health programming, community engagement, partnership development and grant management. For the past four years, she has led the Project Prevent team, which focuses on helping youths live tobacco and nicotine-free. Laura also serves as an adjunct instructor for Arkansas State University. In her role as Director of Community Impact, Laura leads health promotion, injury prevention and engagement initiatives which include the system Community Health Needs Assessments and Implementation Plans, food security efforts for children and families, School Nurse Academy, infant health programming, injury prevention, Infant and Child Death Review, and the Medical Legal Partnership, in addition to other efforts.
