Helmet Giveaway Program

The Trauma Program and Emergency Department at the Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) have partnered to initiate the Helmet Giveaway Program to provide helmets to all children and teens presenting to the hospital who have been involved in a crash in a wheeled activity, such as cycling or skateboarding. In addition to receiving a helmet, this program contains information regarding bicycle safety and proper helmet fitting in an effort to prevent future cycling-related injuries among youth in our community.
